Use cases

FAQ

Do I need a LinkedIn account or cookies?

No. The scraper works logged out, without cookies. You only need an Apify account.

How many posts per person can I get?

Logged out, LinkedIn shows roughly a person's 5–10 newest posts and reposts plus up to 10 articles; that is what the scraper can return.

Are LinkedIn articles included?

Yes. Long-form articles are included by default with headline, date, likes and link, and can be turned off.

Is it legal to scrape LinkedIn?

The scraper collects only publicly visible LinkedIn data without logging in. Make sure your use complies with local laws (such as GDPR) and the site's terms, and avoid collecting or misusing personal data.

How do I get the data into my app?

Download results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the Apify API, the Python and JavaScript clients, or integrations with Make, n8n, Zapier and Google Sheets.
