FAQ

Which leagues are covered?

NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and WNBA — the leagues ESPN keeps injury lists for.

Can I get only players who will not play?

Yes. 'Only players who will not play' keeps Out, Injured Reserve, IL lists and suspensions.

Is it legal to scrape ESPN?

The scraper reads publicly available ESPN data without logging in. Scraping public data is generally allowed, but you are responsible for complying with local laws and the site's terms, and for not collecting or misusing personal data.

What do the teams and games modes do?

Teams gives one row per team with its injured list; games joins both teams' injuries to each upcoming game.

How do I get the data into my app or spreadsheet?

Call it through the Apify API, use the Python or JavaScript client, or connect it to Make, n8n, Zapier or Google Sheets. Results export to JSON, CSV or Excel, and runs can be scheduled.
